During this week there have been many difficulties and delays in the negotiations. It seems that the result might not be the legally binding treaty that the civil society has been trying to reach. Perhaps we will only get a political declaration. Then the negotiation process will continue.
Civil society organizations have been frustrated with the limitations on participating in the negotiations. During these last days in the Bella Center where the negotiations take place there have only been under 1000 representatives of the civil society.
I just wonder what would the result of the negotiations have been if the voice of civil society would have been heard?
