USA:n senaattorit John Kerry ja Joseph Lieberman esittelivät 12. toukokuuta American Power Act -nimellä kutsutun kattavan ilmasto- ja energia-asioita sekä päästökauppaa koskevan lakialoitteen.
Columbia Law Schoolin Center for Climate Change Law (CCCL) on koonnut sivustolleen lakialoitetekstin ja siihen liittyvää materiaalia. Sivulta löytyy myös usein päivitettävää analyysiä ja kommentteja aiheesta sekä paljon oheismateriaalia ilmastolakiasioihin liittyen.

On Wednesday, May 12, Senators John Kerry and Joseph Lieberman introduced
the American Power Act, a comprehensive climate and energy bill
incorporating a cap-and-trade system.
The bill with accompanying materials can be found at a website by The Center for Climate Change Law (CCCL) at Columbia Law School. The CCCL site also provides frequently updated analysis and commentary on the issue and has numerous other reference materials on climate change law. It is also possible to have your analysis or commentary featured on the site.
