24 Hours of Reality is a global event organized by the Climate Reality Project 14-15 September.
Live-streaming online from every time zone on the planet over 24 hours, citizen activists from project will broadcast a multimedia presentation focusing on the already apparent effects of climate change in 24 time zones and in multiple languages.

New book "Climate, Culture, Change: Inuit and Western Dialogues with a Warming North " has been published by the University of Ottawa press. The author, Timothy B. Leduc, presents in the book the conclusions he arrived at after his research on cultural dimensions of climate change.

The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) has released a series of briefs on climate change and food security in Africa.
"How can African agriculture adapt to climate change" includes 20 briefs from Ethiopia and South Africa on, for example, the impact of climate variability and climate change on water and food outcomes; perceptions of stakeholders on climate change and adaptation strategies; risk aversion in low-income countries and soil and water conservation technologies.
